What We Do

Founded in 1999, The Goodness project is consistently ranked as one of the largest charities of it’s kind, based on private, non-government support. The Goodness project is a Christian, international, nonprofit relief organization with headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, that delivers food, medicine, clothing, toys, school supplies and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disasters. In 2011, The Goodness Project distributed more than 11 million pounds of food and other essentials to children and their families.

National Programs

The heart of The Goodness Project U.S. program is distributing food to families in need. To do this, we work closely with caring corporate partners that donate surplus food and other supplies, as well as with individual donors who help defray the cost of transporting the product donations.

Some of the donations are then distributed in bulk to other relief organizations and also processed into individual care packages.

In fiscal year 2011, apx.90 percent of all expenditures went to program services (childcare, food, medical, disaster relief, and community development).
